Bio

Mr. Abubakarr Jalloh is a seasoned administrative leader with over 15 years of impactful service in public sector governance and institutional development. As the Head of Administration at the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone, he has been instrumental in driving strategic reforms, enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a culture of regulatory excellence. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

About the Department

The Administration Department provides strategic leadership and operational support for the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone’s organizational functions. It ensures that all administrative human resource logistics and support services are effectively planned coordinated and delivered to meet national requirements and international best practices thereby strengthening institutional capacity and enabling the Board to fulfil its regulatory mandate efficiently and transparently.

The following are the Department's core functions:

  1. Oversees recruitment staff welfare performance management training and policy compliance across all departments.
  2. Manages procurement inventory and secure storage of equipment and supplies.
  3. Coordinates the Board’s vehicle fleet travel arrangements and logistics operations.
  4. Provides office management record keeping correspondence handling and administrative coordination.
  5. Ensures that administrative operations adhere to national laws regulations and internal policies.
