      Mr. Abubakarr Jalloh is a seasoned administrative leader with over 15 years of impactful service in public sector governance and institutional development. As the Head of Administration at the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone he has been instrumental in driving strategic reforms enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a culture of regulatory excellence.

      Mr. Jalloh’s academic journey reflects his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He is an alumnus St. Edward’s Secondary School and holds degrees from IPAM and Fourah Bay College (University of Sierra Leone. His qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance a Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement Management a Master of Science in Economics and Finance a Master of Public Administration (MPA). This diverse and robust educational foundation equips him with a unique blend of financial insight administrative expertise and policy acumen.

      Throughout his tenure at the Pharmacy Board Mr. Jalloh has led transformative initiatives that have modernized administrative systems improved regulatory compliance and strengthened institutional accountability. His strategic vision has guided the Board through periods of growth and reform positioning it as a key player in safeguarding public health and pharmaceutical standards in Sierra Leone. Mr. Jalloh is widely respected for his inclusive leadership style which emphasizes collaboration transparency and empowerment. His ability to align organizational goals with national health priorities has earned him recognition among peers and stakeholders alike. Beyond his administrative duties Mr. Jalloh is a passionate advocate for public service and regulatory integrity. He actively contributes to national policy dialogues inter-agency partnerships and international engagements ensuring that Sierra Leone’s pharmaceutical sector remains aligned with global best practices.

      The Administration Department provides strategic leadership and operational support for the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone’s organizational functions. It ensures that all administrative human resource logistics and support services are effectively planned coordinated and delivered to meet national requirements and international best practices thereby strengthening institutional capacity and enabling the Board to fulfil its regulatory mandate efficiently and transparently.

      Core Functions:

      1. Oversees recruitment staff welfare performance management training and policy compliance. across all departments.

      2. Manages procurement inventory and secure storage of equipment and supplies.

      3. Coordinates the Board’s vehicle fleet travel arrangements and logistics operations.

      4. Provides office management record keeping correspondence handling and administrative coordination.

      5. Ensures that administrative operations adhere to national laws regulations and internal policies.

      Units of the Department:

      The Human Resource Unit builds a competent ethical and motivated workforce by managing recruitment training policy compliance performance evaluation and staff welfare to align human capital with the Pharmacy Board’s regulatory mission.


       

      Manages the procurement inventory and secure storage of equipment and supplies to ensure efficient support of the Pharmacy Board’s operations.


       

      Oversees the Board’s vehicle fleet travel arrangements and logistics to provide timely safe and cost-effective transport services.


       

      Coordinates office management record keeping correspondence and overall administrative support to ensure smooth and transparent operations across the Pharmacy Board.
